The first step is to make sure you are running the most up-to-date version of Event Manager
Download from here: http://rotebetasoftware.net/wp/index.php/freeware/event-manager/
Next, install an editor called poEdit... you can do this from here...
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/poedit/poedit-1.3.4-setup.exe
Then open the '\locale\default.po' file with this software and enter the translations in the bottom left edit window of the program
After you save the changes, copy the default.po file to the event manager "\Locale\<lang>\LC_MESSAGES" folder (replacing <lang> with your language code)
e.g.
.\Locale\ES\LC_MESSAGES
es = Spanish
de = German
pt = Portuguese
pt_BR = Brazilian Portuguese
sk = Slovak
etc... (more can be found here)
To test your translations, run event manager and it should pick up on the new translations you have created.
I hope this is helpful... if you are able to translate the program, could you please email me back the default.po file so i can include it in future versions of Event Manager
if you need any extra help just let me know.
Thanks
